New logo for 2008
I can’t say that I’ve really had a logo in the past. I played around with this 3 cube thing, but that was mostly just out of necessity and a lack of inspiration at the time.
One of the “grand philosophical underpinnings” of Industry Interactive is that it’s fun. Work really doesn’t have to suck, you should look forward to doing what you do. With that in mind, I’ve decided to do a logo for Industry Interactive that I’ll be rolling out over the next while. Here’s a preview:

Hey, it’s my company, and how many chances will I get to work for a company that uses a baboon in their logo? Is it clean and professional, and does it convey the true meaning of the company? Nope. But it’s fun, it conveys the spirit and some of the philosophy.
I’ve kept the colour palette that I’ve been working with the same - red, black and white. I had played around with the colour of the “splatter” a bit — I had to reject brown because I didn’t want to get into any feces-throwing jokes. Yellow was okay, but not contrasty-enough against a white background. Call it blood splatter if you must, but I think it’s closer to paint splatter.
