MyGulfIslandHome.com is live!

We’ve finally got the last few wrinkles ironed out, and it’s time to launch. MyGulfIslandHome.com is now open for business.

I know that the question on the tip of your tongue is “what the heck is a MyGulfIslandHome?” The answer is that it’s a lot of things (and bear with me as I run through a few of the nostalgic ones first).

1. MyGulfIslandHome.com is the first product launched by Industry Interactive Inc. We’ve been doing great work for a number of clients for quite some time now, but this is the first “built for us” endeavor we’ve undertaken. It’s taken quite a while to put together, but we’re really happy with the end result (we hope our customers are too!).
2. MyGulfIslandHome.com is an experiment. We’ve got plans for a few other web-based products that we’re hoping to launch soon. As such, MyGulfIslandHome.com is a bit of an experiment to get our feet wet in this space. The next product we launch will have appeal outside of the Southern Gulf Islands (we promise). MyGulfIslandHome has a limited pool of potential customers.
3. MyGulfIslandHome.com is an essential if you own a second (or third, or fourth) home in the Southern Gulf Islands. It’s a great way to keep an eye on things, and escape to island paradise as often as you’d like. MyGulfIslandHome.com provides you with beautiful photo updates of your property every couple of weeks; so even if you can’t be on island in person, you can be on island in spirit.

Now comes the fun job of getting the word out. It would be extremely convenient if all residents of the Southern Gulf Islands checked this web site on a regular basis. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. We’ll likely be turning to some traditional advertising for this one.
